Rebelmail Spam Filter

All e-mail messages sent to your Rebelmail account are automatically checked for spam (unsolicited bulk e-mail). Messages are scored by an automated process and compared to accepted industry standards. Other companies such as Yahoo, Hotmail, and Google use this same type of practice.

Using this method, most spam will automatically be deleted from your Rebelmail account; however, some spam messages may still come through and end up in your inbox. To filter those unwanted e-mails, follow the instructions below.

Webmail

  1. Check the box next to the unwanted e-mail(s).
  2. Press the blacklist link. This will automatically create a filter for that e-mail.
  3. The Filter Rules webpage will appear. If needed, scroll down the page to see the new filter created.
  4. Click Apply All Rules.
Access your Rebelmail at any UNLV computer lab or the UNLV Library.
